How we protect, consider and improve our impact on the environment.

Over 1,000 tonnes of bingo tickets are recycled each year.  Gala Coral Group is constantly looking at new and innovative ways of recycling.

We have also established a relationship with a homeless charity allowing us to donate surplus quality furniture. We have given large quantities of furniture to the Framework Charity in Nottingham.

All new build Casino and Bingo Clubs are fitted with Infra-Red Light Switch Technology that switches the lights off after 20 minutes of inactivity, saving electricity.

The award winning 'green car' - the Toyota Prius - is a recommended car on our company car list. This car has one of the lowest fuel consumptions/lowest emissions of any car on UK roads. We have additionally capped the emission levels on company cars as a matter of policy and this will direct our future company car list selection. Gala Coral has even teamed up with the Woodland Trust, the UK's leading conservation charity, and for every Prius ordered we give a donation of £100 to protect our native woodland heritage.

We are undertaking a major environmental audit in all corporate policies and procedures in this area.
