About Springboard
Springboard aims to provide education and relevant support services to help young people, the unemployed and disadvantaged groups in society prepare for work in hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism.
Springboard and Gala Coral Group
We have been proud and active members of Springboard for a number of years and our through our relationship we provide a window on the gaming business as an occupation. In 2004 we won the Springboard award for the "Best Graduate Placement" for Gala Bingo. In 2005 we were awarded the "Corporate Citizenship" award for our work in the community.

Business in the Community is a unique independent business led charity whose purpose is to inspire, engage, support and challenge companies, to continually improve the impact they have on society. With a current membership of over 750 companies, including 71 of the FTSE 100 and 82 per cent of the FTSE's UK leading companies in their sector, together Business in the Community members employ 12.4 million people in over 200 countries worldwide, including one in five of the UK private sector workforce.
Business in the Community and Gala Coral Group
Gala Coral are proud members of Business in the Community, we have been active members for a number of years and model our Corporate Social Responsibility activity on the BITC four key impact areas of Community, Marketplace, Environment and Workplace.
We work closely with Business in the Community on their Cares Employee Volunteer program. In both 2004 and 2005 we won the award for "Team Leader of the Year" for our involvement in Nottinghamshire Cares.

About the Employers' Forum on Disability
The Employers' Forum on Disability is the world's leading employers' organisation focused on disability as it affects business. Funded and managed by over 400 members, we make it easier to recruit and retain disabled employees and to serve disabled customers.
The Employers' Forum on Disability and Gala Coral Group
Gala Coral Group joined the Employers Forum on Disability during 2006. We are looking forward to an active involvement in this area building on our previous and ongoing work in this area.
