Gala Coral Group Acquires 25 Betting Shop Outlets
Gala Coral Group, Europe's largest integrated gaming company, announces the acquisition of twenty-five betting shop outlets owned by the Brian Goodyear Group.
The licenced-betting offices are based primarily in and around Kettering, Northampton, Wellingborough and Bedford and will operate under the Coral name. Gala Group acquired Coral Eurobet in October 2005. Since then, the betting shop estate has grown by 96 shops to 1,363 shops.

Today's announcement further demonstrates Gala Coral Group's growth across all its divisions. Recent acquisitions include 41 betting shops from Victor Chandler, the Leo Casino on Queen's Dock in Liverpool from Amaury Taittinger as well as County Bingo, the owner operator of 10 bingo clubs in Glasgow and the surrounding area.
