Gala Coral Honoured With Top International Award For Pioneering Gaming Platform
Gala Coral Group is celebrating after the company's Gaming Platform was recognised by the prestigious US magazine Casino Journal. The technology was honoured in the magazine's "Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products" of 2005.
Organised by the Ascend Media Group, the awards are acknowledged as one of the most prestigious honours bestowed on gaming products or services. Now in their ninth year, they recognise the most innovative offerings in the gaming industry.
Industry vendors were invited to submit product nominations for their newest, most creative products and services. All entries were then evaluated by the panel of expert judges, including senior executives from MGM Mirage and Ameristar Casinos, and 20 finalists were selected. Gala Coral was honoured to join industry heavyweights, including IGT, Bally Technologies and WMS, on the list of honours this year.

The Gala Gaming Platform, developed in conjunction with Inspired Broadcast Networks, is a server based platform allowing Gala Coral to download content remotely and monitor incomes and play data in real time over the network.
