Gala Bingo helps flood relief by raising £20,000
Last weekend, Sunday, 5th August, Gala Bingo hosted flood relief activity throughout all 171 of its land based clubs across the UK, to raise money for those affected by flooding.
Working with the Red Cross’s Flood Appeal, the activity in clubs, which included charity games and collection bins, raised in excess of £20,000.
Colin Morgan, Gala Coral Group CRS Manager said, “The recent floods across the country have caused devastation to many, and some of our customers and staff have been directly affected.
“Gala Bingo is fully committed to supporting our local communities and even more so during their time of need. All of our staff and customers have grouped together to help their fellow bingo players and have raised a fantastic amount. I’d like to thank everyone who got involved.”
