GamCare Training
Over the last 18 months Gala has rolled out a significant and comprehensive GamCare Training programme.
- All general managers in Casino and Bingo have been trained.
- All support managers in our Casinos and Bingo Clubs have been trained.
- All new employees into Gala Coral receive GamCare training.
- A GamCare Code of Practice has been established in all Bingo Clubs and Casinos.
By the end of December 2004, 100% of staff across both Casino and Bingo divisions were trained in GamCare Social Responsibility in Gaming.
GamCare visited a number of Bingo Clubs and Casinos with a view to certificating the work we do in this area. The initial visits from GamCare went very positively. Through this we will be ensuring that GamCare continues to recognise our approach to responsible gaming by maintaining training and communication to an impeccable standard. This will be repeated on a regular basis.
