We are proud of our approach to employee welfare. We aim at all times to be an employer of choice. We offer a number of schemes to our employees, for instance, we operate a Learning Voucher and Scholarships scheme whereby any of our employees with more than twelve months service can apply to gain funding for extra courses. We provide £1000 for studies that are linked to business and £200 for any course that our employees wish to undertake. To date we have already awarded £100,000 to our employees in this scheme.
We are also proud of our association with the Sector Skills Council organisations People 1st. People 1st recognised us under their “Good Employer” scheme during 2008.
